One Crazy Weekend!!

On Friday I took the day off because we didn't have daycare. I'm sure glad I did, because Jordan woke up and thought to himself, "I think I'm going to crawl today". Sure enough, the minute he first sat down, he started crawling. I grabbed my camera quick, and recorded it. I would have been so sad if he did this at daycare where I couldn't see it! I have quickly baby-proofed the living room, and we went and bought baby gates today to make sure he would stay in one room. I have always known that when he starts crawling, I'm going to be in trouble, because he's always been an active little guy. Let's just say I was completely right, and I'm in for even more trouble when he starts walking!

(I'm trying to upload a video of him crawling but it says there's an error. Anyone know what to do? I'll keep trying.)

So, we had heard about this lady that lives north of Duluth, and she has two Boxers that she breeds. Jason has stopped there a couple times to see the dogs that she has (She also breeds other kinds), but they never have the kind we want with the colorings we want. Well, he stopped there a couple weeks ago and they had the perfect puppy for us! She is a reverse-brindle color, with a black nose and a white belly, and three white feet. She's adorable. We weren't expecting to get her until next weekend, but the lady called Friday and told us that she had the weeks wrong, and that they would be 6 weeks old this weekend so we could pick her up if we wanted. So, with a lot of thinking and planning, we decided this was what we wanted. We went to get her, and she is so adorable! We named her Porscha (after the car Porsche) because Jason loves those cars and would love to have one! The whole ride home, she kept crawling up behind my head and slept there. Meanwhile, Addie (who hates any other dog) stayed either on Jason's lap or on the floor by my feet....trying to get as far away from her as she possibly could. We brought her home and stuck Addie and Porscha into the kennel together while we ran to get some baby gates and a puppy crate. I am glad that we put them in there together, because now they play and tease each other! Jordan decided that her ears are fun to pull on. Here are some pics of her first day in her new home....

Blackhawk Concert

Blackhawk Concert
This weekend we went to Minneapolis and went to the Blackhawk concert. We first met some friends for Sushi and then headed for the concert. Our seats were right next to the stage, so we got to feel the sweat from the band! I also got a guitar pick from the guy that looks like a girl :)
