Birthday Weekend

Well, yesterday was my birthday, and I have to say, the more birthdays I have, the more like ordinary days they seem. It wasn't until I got to work and someone said Happy Birthday to me, I realized it was my birthday! Sad, huh? I probably would have been reminded earlier if Jason was home that morning, but he was out of town for work. It was a really nice, laid back day. I worked, and then after work I met Jason and our friends Casey and Erica in Canal park at Belisio's, a really good Italian restaurant. Then we went home and just relaxed and fell asleep early! ...it's tough getting old!  :)
I was telling Jason that this is the first weekend where I haven't had a single thing planned. No homework, no lesson plans to get ready for, no relatives visiting, and again, no homework. It's been amazing. I don't know what to do with my time! So, I've already cleaned the house, wrapped presents, packed for Christmas, and washed a couple loads of laundry! I think I could get used to this! The only thing I can't do is upload any pictures because I can't find the cord to the camera!
We brought Jordan to see Santa for the first time today! I think  mom and dad were more excited about it than he was...and it showed in the picture. Santa was just another lap for Jordan to sit on...no big deal. Oh well, I suppose the older he gets the more exciting it will be for him. I'm looking forward to it! Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and not getting stranded in all the snow!

Blackhawk Concert

Blackhawk Concert
This weekend we went to Minneapolis and went to the Blackhawk concert. We first met some friends for Sushi and then headed for the concert. Our seats were right next to the stage, so we got to feel the sweat from the band! I also got a guitar pick from the guy that looks like a girl :)
